Seasoned executive brings more than twenty-years of international public and private market capital raising experience for United Kingdom originated companies to the Board of the UK's leading equity investment network.
LONDON, United Kingdom, February 3, 2026 -- Capitalex, the UK's leading equity investment ecosystem, created by experienced investors to help exceptional companies understand and access equity funding, announced today that it has appointed Patrick Newton to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Newton has raised growth capital for companies in the private and public equity markets internationally. He has served as Chief Executive of start-up, growth and late stage corporations around the globe and has particular experience of funding and managing corporate growth in the UK, North America and Asia. Newton has extensive experience of capital raising and brings to Capitalex a deep understanding of corporate finance processes on the part both of investee companies and professional investors.
Mr Newton joins Capitalex to help extend the network’s capacity to engage with and support UK based growth companies as they seek to find the right investment partner for the long term. He will also be working with Capitalex’s investor partners to further develop their use of the platform’s tools and technologies that identify and surface high potential UK based SMEs across all stages from seed through to growth. This private directory of selected companies is available to all Capitalex investor members and underpins their engagement with the best of British growth companies.
